Helical Fusion participated in WAM Saudi 2026, held from February 15 to 17 in Riyadh, an international conference and exhibition focused on advanced manufacturing and industrial transformation under strong national leadership.

As the only fusion energy exhibitor at the event, Helical Fusion presented fusion as a long-term industrial and energy solution with substantial market potential. The exhibition provided an opportunity to engage with policymakers, investors, and industrial leaders across the MENA region.
CEO Takaya Taguchi took part in the panel session “Circular, but does it work?”, where he discussed the broader ethical and systemic implications of fusion energy within the circular economy framework. Fusion energy, as a fundamentally transformative solution, extends sustainability discussions beyond efficiency toward long-term energy responsibility.

In addition, Helical Fusion was selected as a semifinalist in the Supernova Pitch Contest, where Taguchi delivered a standalone presentation outlining the long-term industrial and societal impact of commercially viable fusion power.

Throughout the three-day event, the company connected with visionary stakeholders, including government representatives aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The strong commitment to industrial development and future-oriented technologies underscored the strategic relevance of fusion energy in the region.
Helical Fusion will continue sharing its global vision while rigorously advancing the Helical Stellarator under the Helix Program as a practical pathway toward steady-state, net-electricity fusion power generation.
