Helical Fusion Joins FusionXInvest: APAC 2025 and Hosts Networking Tour to NIFS

From October 23–24, Helical Fusion took part in FusionXInvest: APAC 2025 in Tokyo.

On Day 1, Co-Founder & CEO Takaya Taguchi joined a keynote panel with international leaders in fusion innovation and investment. With nearly double the media presence compared to last year, the event reflected the rapid global acceleration toward fusion commercialization.

On Day 2, we co-hosted the official Networking Tour, visiting the National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) in Gifu Prefecture—home of the Large Helical Device (LHD) and the academic origin of Helical Fusion.

Guests had the rare opportunity to visit the LHD during its final experimental run, witnessing the legacy of one of the world’s largest stellarator facilities. Together with NIFS experts, we also guided visitors through Helical Fusion’s dedicated R&D space on campus, where foundational science is now transforming into real reactor technologies.

The experience offered a clear view of where fusion is headed—driven by international collaboration and shared purpose.
